The 45Osprey is one of the first .45 ACP suppressors to be hearing safe while shot without the use of water or grease. With its revolutionary eccentric design Silencerco was able to achieve this amount of suppression without compromising the sight picture of the shooters host weapon. Because of the 45Osprey’s slim form it also has the ability to be holstered while still attached to the host weapon. The 45Osprey has a patent pending cam lock mounting system that allows it to be realigned after mounted to the host weapon for proper orientation. The 45Osprey’s cosmetic appearance was inspired by common host weapons which make the 45Osprey look like an extension of the host weapon.
